This stylish made to measure fitted furniture for a teenage bedroom was created for a family home in Reigate, Surrey. Our clients commissioned us, as they prefer high quality, well-made pieces that will stand the test of time and value the ethos of our sustainable, handcrafted furniture. The built-in matching bedroom suite includes a double wardrobe, wide connecting chest of drawers, multi-purpose dressing table, large, illuminated mirror and long, floating display shelf; all perfectly customised for a modern teen’s lifestyle.

Shaker-style mirrored wardrobe doors

Shaker furniture has a gentle, understated look with a light coloured, painted finish is ideal for a bedroom and won’t go out of fashion. The shaker-style multi-panelled wardrobe doors feature silver safety glass mirrors. Safety glass is much stronger than regular glass and is more scratch resistant. All the furniture has been flawlessly, spray painted with an environmentally friendly, satin matt water-based paint. The cabinet doors and drawers are dressed with ball-shaped satin stainless-steel knobs.

Drawers, dressing table and desk

An integrated six-drawer chest of drawers provides tailored storage. The drawers are mounted on full extension soft close concealed drawer slides for effortless opening and closing. The long worktop is protected by a painted safety glass surface and finished with a chamfered edge. Two wide, shallow drawers under the dressing table top have been tailored to hold cosmetics and accessories; while a stunning Hollywood-style 14 bulb LED dimmable makeup mirror makes a glamorous statement.
