This is a beautiful example of a bespoke handmade luxury kitchen by Claude Clémaron for our client’s residence in Esher, Surrey. The uniquely designed furniture has been handmade in solid ash wood to combine classic elegance with a contemporary twist. Ash is a stunning timber with the strength of oak but a more consistent grain which can achieve the streamlined appearance our client wanted to achieve. With a lighter colour than oak and a soft warm finish, ash brings a sense of space and brightness to a kitchen. Ash wood’s flexibility also makes it ideal for creating bespoke curved furniture like the curved corner cabinet in this kitchen. The sleek drawer cabinets have solid ash wood fronts set in a solid shaker inspired front frame.

Curved surfaces

There is no doubt that designing curved surfaces in your kitchen softens the kitchen cabinetry appearance and at the same time makes the kitchen more spacious. Solid ash wood as shown in this kitchen is a brilliant choice for curved woodworking.

Handle-less doors and drawers

Having drawers sliding on full extension, soft closing, concealed runners complements the touch to open, handle-less drawer fronts. The doors are carefully hung on a concealed push to open hinge. Despite having a country look, the kitchen does actually have a contemporary twist to it.
