This classic bespoke built-in multimedia cabinet was commissioned by Petiole, a residential interior design studio, for the living room in a stunning luxury apartment in London’s South Bank district.

The made to measure bespoke TV unit and bookcase with an integrated fireplace has been designed and constructed in a classic style. It forms a well-organised viewing platform and display area with cabling and other distractions all neatly concealed.

Traditionally crafted in a timeless style

The custom-made cabinetry features a complementary mix of handcrafted flat panel drawer fronts with doors featuring raised and fielded panels. These are dressed with antique pewter cup handles and small door knobs. The exterior has been hand painted in a warm neutral matt shade of Farrow and Ball London Stone.

Natural wood and stone

The illuminated display shelves are made from solid polished American black walnut and the upper section of the unit is lined with a matching walnut veneer. The rustic stone tiling of the fireplace surround adds texture and interest to complete the natural look of the décor.
