This stunning contemporary bespoke library was commissioned for the music room at our client’s home in Shere, Surrey. The brief was to construct the tall bookcase cabinets in a perfectly proportioned grid around three walls and to include a built-in window seat. We handcrafted the fitted furniture in solid light oak with a real oak wood veneer which has a calm, understated and timeless appeal.

Fully adjustable made to measure shelving

The made to measure oak bookshelves are extremely sturdy and will withstand the weight of the heaviest hardcover collection. The shelves have been designed to be fully adjustable too. This provides our client with plenty of flexibility for changing the storage and display layouts as they require in the future.

Bespoke corner cabinets

Bespoke corner cabinets maximise every inch of space in a room. Here the precisely measured
L-shaped design of the fitted oak bookcases creates an attractive cocooning effect. Beautifully fitted, the custom-made bookcase cabinets integrate harmoniously into the setting, appearing as if they were always there.
