This custom-made fitted wardrobe was commissioned for the attic bedroom of our client’s home in Esher, Surrey, which has a sloped ceiling. The bespoke wardrobe design maximises storage in the limited space. Unlike a freestanding wardrobe, a built-in wardrobe like this is permanently fitted in place, making it perfect for an odd-shaped corner or awkward angled area because of a feature like a chimney breast, staircase or low ceiling beams for instance.

Traditional fitted wardrobe design

The handcrafted and painted bespoke wardrobe doors feature classical period-style raised and fielded panelling. This door design has an elegant timeless charm, and the look and feel of quality that will last for generations. The lower, soft closing external drawers add considerable style as well as easy access to clothes and accessories. The drawers provide our client with a useful space for irregular shaped items, and subdivided interiors keep every well-organised.

The precision built, customised wardrobe fits unobtrusively into the alcove under the angled roof of the loft space and beautifully utilises every inch of available space.
