BESPOKE CINEMA ROOM

We wanted a built-in wall unit to provide storage, display and house a projector screen. We had a fairly good idea of the basic design. Claude helped us refine this in a way that complemented the style of other rooms and then built and fitted it to an excellent standard. The person who supplied the screen said it was the easiest he had installed because all the measurements he had specified were spot-on. we are very pleased with the final result. A little while later we decided we would like a free-standing, made to measure bookcase for the same room. Claude helped us specify the details and again we are very happy with the outcome.

My wife and I decided that we needed a fitted wardrobe. We carefully considered those available from other suppliers across the country and formed a clear view of what we would like. We had a fairly clear idea of the required style, finish and interior layout. We also wanted solid oak doors. Others suppliers were relatively limited in what they could offer. They could not supply oak doors and were less flexible about the final finish. Our choice of Claude Clemaron to make them turned out to be a very wise choice. Not only have they provided what we wanted but while making them they made suggestions that improved the appearance further. Claude Clemaron were a pleasure to use, careful and efficient at time of installation and we now have a magnificent piece of furniture of the highest quality. Compared to the cost proposed by one of the main suppliers of quality wardrobes it was also a competitive price.

Claude professionally interpreted our brief to make a 4 metre wide bespoke wall unit to be fitted in to an existing cove. The unit only took a couple of days to install after having been made in his workshop. The work was carried out efficiently and tidily. I initially contacted Claude Clemaron to discuss some fitted dressing room cupboards. As I gained confidence in the process, the scope widened to include a bathroom sink console with drawers in Corian/wood, a desk console in Corian, and a media wall. The design process was very thorough and the technical drawings very complete, allowing me to explore all the issues and options. Claude’s design input and creativity was essential to the quality of the final result, and his contemporary take on traditional structures is very refreshing. The installation teams were thorough, well equipped, neat and tidy in their work, and the finished work was of a very high standard. The work was completed to budget, even absorbing some minor variations post implementation in the cost. The few issues that arose during and after the installation were quickly and professionally sorted. From a cost perspective, I believe that they are very competitive. I sought competitive tenders for most of the work, and Claude’s prices were as keen as anyone’s. Overall, working with Clemaron Wood Interiors was one of the very few enjoyable parts of a long and difficult building project. I am delighted with the result and I have no hesitation in recommending them.

BESPOKE DRINKS CABINET

Claude Clemaron was recommended to us 12 years ago after we had had a long and unsuccessful search for two large cabinets to fill awkward spaces in our house. Claude skilfully incorporated our ideas into his designs and the finished results were two individual and stylish cabinets which, when we moved house, we were keen to take with us. Fortunately, Claude’s team were able to carefully dismantle them, number and wrap each section and re-assemble both cabinets in our new house. Both have fragile, applied decorative paint finishes which are still intact in spite of the move, which speaks volumes for the care that they took. Within the last 6 months we have commissioned from Claude two further pieces: matching 10′ high bookcases to fit into our Regency drawing room. Once again, Claude’s attention to detail is evident in the design and the finished pieces are stunning and impressive.

We chose Clemaron primarily because they offered genuinely tailor-made solutions to fit our space and needs, not just variations on fixed size, off the peg units. Our aim was to convert our former office into a study without connotations of work.
Claude listened carefully to what we wanted and then put forward sensible and innovative ideas for how we could achieve this. He did not impose his thinking on us, but neither did he let us make silly mistakes, and so offered the perfect design process – a collaborative effort. There was plenty of scope for minor adjustments as the order progressed, especially to take account of rather a lot of IT equipment. We welcomed the open invitation to visit the workrooms, and it is very useful to be able to see the units down there as construction nears completion.
Installation went fine, the fitters were friendly and helpful and, most importantly, skilful! Any aftercare needed has been promptly provided, and we are confident that we could phone Claude for help any time we needed.
The price compares favourably with other products on the market, and given that it is effectively handmade and includes a high proportion of real wood, offers good value for money.
Our new study looks good, provides the storage we were seeking, and is pleasant to use, even if it’s not as tidy as Claude would have hoped! We would certainly recommend Clemaron highly to others – and have indeed done so.
